Quick. What are two things we humans have in common? Did you say the weather and our ability to be compassionate? You are SO right. It's pretty neat that even if you are a social dork,(me) there is the one lovely subject upon which we can all comment. The sun, the rain, the heat, the sunset, the cold, the breeze and the ever wonderful clouds. Thank goodness for these things or I might never talk to strangers, which for those who know me is not my forte.
Okay so what about the other thing. Compassion, ah yes. That innate thing in our hearts that knows on a cellular level that we really are all inter-connected. It's why we have benefits for people in need. It's the thing that gives us pause when we hear of a missing child or a lost pet. It's what makes us pray for people we do not even know. And not just that it's the law, it's why we pull over when an ambulance comes by with lights flashing. Because we care. We care on a level that not everyone can admit to, but that everyone holds in their hearts. Not always accessible to some, but intrinsic in all. Let me hear you say yes.
Until next time.

Well that's just beautiful Mary.
Hi Grandma Mary (hehe...I know you are young but you ARE my mom's mom so that makes you my grandma :).
We liked this blog. There is a wonderful group on dogster called Pay It Forward. All the doggies try to do nice things for their communities and eachother. We think Miss Betty and Taco should join dogster and that group. You would fit right in with all the compassionate people :)
