I almost don't know how to begin I am so overwhelmed with the actions of this one man.

Jeremy Gilley is a film maker. In 1999, he began his project called Peace One Day. It was to be a documentation of " his efforts to create a day of global cease-fire and non-violence with a fixed calendar date." He wanted a day, one day of global unity. One day when the food could be brought in, when the vaccines could be made available to children. One day when we could all participate in taking action in our own lives that would invite the existence of peace.

Watch the film on the website, check out the My Commitments page to see a map where you can click on a geographic site to see what personal commitments people are doing. They are original and amazing and obviously from the heart. It's a great website with lots of info. Please take the time to read and incorporate the message this man has given us. Such a simple thought this Peace One Day.
