It's not that I lack wonderful people to gab about, it's more that downloading pictures and getting them to sit pretty on this site can sometimes make me kooky. Finesse on the computer evades me. I promise I'll try to be more frequent on the updates. Thanks to everyone who tunes in though.

I just read a cute little book by Jodi McCoy called Hounding the Pavement. It's a "dog walker" mystery. A professional dog walker in Manhattan is reunited with her dog who passed 10 years earlier. The reincarnation enables him to communicate with her and she with him. Who wouldn't want that?

The best part? The author is donating all royalties to Best Friends Animal Society. Remember them from a past post? Doesn't that just make you sigh with contentment, knowing that people are putting it out there, being creative with their philanthropy? I love that. Can someone put me on that bus?

Honey, I think you've been on that bus for awhile now. Actually I believe you are the one that polished the seats, organized the glove compartment, and put pretty rocks on the ridge that runs inside all around the bus just above the windows. You make the rest of us want to get on that bus with you.
