Pit Bull Rescue Central. I LOVE THESE PEOPLE!!
http://www.pbrc.net
This is one of the best websites for good and reliable information on Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers and pittie mixes. They really know their stuff and they convey it well. There is so much info here, I barely know where to start.
The Pit Bull education section is sure to teach all of us quite a bit more about these misunderstood and maligned dogs. From breed info, to fostering, to Breed Specific Legislation,(boooooo.....boooo) I think you'll find it quite enlightening.
PBRC is not a shelter, they provide web exposure for dogs who need homes and guidance in the adoption process. You can view pitties ready for adoption by entering your zip code and how far you'd be wiling to travel to a shelter or foster home.
They also have contests such as their annual "Howl-oween Costume Contest." Or the "I, Pittie the Fool" contest for the silliest, or most gorgeous, depends how you look at it, Pit Bull. Sign up for email updates and you'll see what I mean.
For the past 2 years I have purchased their Pit Bull Happy Endings calendar and it's some of the best money I've ever spent. Great stories about the dog of the month, great photos and all over good feelings just looking at these beauties.
Love these people. Love their work. Love their drive to have the pitties seen in the light in which they deserve. Big smushy kisses.

41 wheels
Oh me oh my. http://www.eddieswheels.com
Maybe you have heard of them. Located in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, this is a company that makes mobility carts for animals who have lost use of their legs. Started over 20 years ago, Ed and Leslie Grinnell have been dedicated to providing a very real gift to beloved pets and their owners by way of increased freedom of movement in theses wonderful carts. They offer both front and rear carts depending on the disability of the animal. They are custom made, guaranteed for the life of the pet and are upgradeable depending on the pet's needs. Their website is great. Super informative, filled with the obvious love they have for animals, it's now listed on my favorites where I think I will go when I need a little boost of positivity.
They have numerous videos an their website, but I have to highly recommend one. Go to the large breed section and watch "pit bull on wheels." I now officially love Mason. I watched several of the videos and it was truly inspiring. To see these animals,( dogs, cats, even a goat) just tooling around on these carts, you can tell they have been uplifted. They are undaunted, but they also show so much heart, like nothing can slow them down now.
If you check out You Tube and type in Willa and Webster you will see the newest addition to Eddie and Linda's family.
They are truly wonderful people.
