DSW. That's who.
Now we know I REALLY love shoes. And I have been known to frequent the Designer Shoe Warehouse. I might also have signed up at some point to be one of their "consultants" and partake in their online surveys. In doing so you are given coupons, ( I call them coupy doopies) to be used for shopping.
I did happen to have just such a coupy doopy that was due to expire soon, which I was well aware of. It's fair to say I REALLY didn't want it to expire with out being used. THE HORROR!
Wouldn't you know they sent me an email saying they noticed I had not yet used my $10.00 off coupon. They wondered, had I lost it or forgotten about it? YEAH, RIGHT. So they sent me another one to print and use!!!!! Is this not delicious customer service?
I did indeed use the c.d. and did indeed get an awesome pair of suede boots, ( I know, I know, it's friggin' Summah. But so cute and a bargain-o-rama to boot.) BAHAHAHA. A shoe pun.
I will be dashing off a letter to their Customer Service department to inform them of my delighted-ness and satisfaction extraordinaire.

Yeegads. How could I not mention this other lovely gentleman from today.
Somehow, I managed to leave my key in the ignition in the "on " position overnight. I cannot recall what distracted me when I was closing my car windows for the night. This morning I found my keys in the car and my car most decidedly said NO when I tried to start her up.
Called AAA and they sent their person to jump start the car. As soon as he got out of the car, he bent down to pet Betty and Taco who instantly became enamored with him. Like BAMMO, they loved him. I have never seen them take to anyone like that. Taco especially. It was as if the guy ooooozed cookie scent. He was fascinated . It was so neat. So the man gets my car started, all the while telling the dogs what he was doing and them following along, uhun, uhun, just GAZING at this guy.
He was here for all of, maybe 6 minutes, but what an impression he left. It's so obvious the pups knew that he was an okay dude and they felt super at ease. What a wonderful thing to witness.

Today is lovely. Perfect weather. High Spirits.
I had two really nice interactions with people today. The first was at my local farmers exchange. I went to get some plants and the place was packed with all kinds of blooming loveliness. I kinda just stood there for a minute to let all that flower power wash over me. Total deliciousness. When I went to pay, there was the usual throng of people inside also at the registers. The gentleman who helped me is always kind and unhurried and present. I paid for my snapdragons with my debit card and as he handed my card back to me he said, "Thanks, Mary." That was it. Maybe it's something about hearing your name, I don't know. I just loved that moment. Maybe I was still buzzing from all that awesome flower energy and it rubbed off on him, who knows. It was one of those times that make you feel pretty darned good.
The other was at a seafood joint in town. I went to get some take out. I gave the woman my name so she could holler it out when the order was ready. She is always pleasant and smiley when we go there. One of those people you hope takes your order just so you can get a bit of sparkle from them. When my order was ready, she brought it over to me and said, "There you go, Mary." Again with the contented sigh of happiness.
I just love days like this when your heart is wide open, leading the way and everyone is wonderful.
Then I came home and planted my flowers and all is right in the world.
