When I was walking the dogs yesterday we came upon a woman out for a walk as well. I said hi and kept walking but my dog Betty, in her usual fashion went straight up to her, all tail wagging and snaggle toothy. The woman bent down to pet her and said, "well isn't it such a good day to be a dog" in that voice we sometimes use for extra precious and wonderful animals.

Her hands were henna-ed and she gave Betty a perfect and professional pet. First around the ears all good, then around the neck all yummy-like, then around the shoulders all deliciously. Obviously a lover of animals.

I keep thinking about her and that lovely 15 second interaction she had with Betty and I'm amazed at the way we impact one another in the most slight and sweet ways. May we all give as well as receive these gifts of 100% positivity, given as moments of presence and heart.

Love these sweet moments that are so easily missed but so rich when taken in.
